Frequently Ask Questions

How much does drywall repair cost?

We believe in providing honest, straight-forward pricing prior to beginning a job.  There are no “standard” answer because of the variables of each repair, such as location on the wall/ceiling, texture matching, painting, etc.  Because we specialize in small to medium size drywall repairs, we are able to work efficiently and be very accurate in our quotes.  We will typically request pictures or a quick video chat to review the project and provide a quote.  For larger, more involved projects involving installation, painting, or larger repairs typically we will stop by to do a project review.  Our minimum job price is $425.

Will there be a huge mess to clean up when you leave?

Short answer, no.  We pride ourselves in leaving every job site clean.  Yes, drywall is messy when applying and leaves a fine dust after sanding.  We take every precaution to minimize this by covering everything that could be affected, and using HEPA dust extractors when sanding.  For ceiling repairs, we will typically install a dust barrier prior to any sanding to minimize dust.

Do you offer new drywall installation and finishing in addition to repairs?

Our team can handle any size drywall installation and finishing project.  We have commercially trained hangers and finishers who can easily handle larger projects such as basements and additions.  We provide the same high-touch service and coordination of delivery, hanging, inspections and finishing, ready to paint.

What will I have to do to prepare?

Once you have accepted the quote and service is scheduled, there are just a couple of things we ask for us to be able to complete the request (the “fine print”:

1) have someone available to meet us or provide access to the work area at the scheduled time.  We’ll call the night before and send a text message when we’re on our way to confirm the appointment.

2) Have the temperature in the house in a range of 70-75 degrees F.  We request this due to the use of quick setting compound that requires that temperature range to set correctly.

3) Have all furniture, rugs and loose items a minimum of 6 feet away from the area to be repaired.

That’s it!  We’ll take care of the rest.

How are you better than a general handyman or drywall installation contractor?

We believe that specializing in small to medium size repairs allows us to provide a better, more efficient solution to homeowners.  While handymen can and will do small repair jobs, typically they are less specialized which can mean a longer and less satisfactory repair.  Larger drywall companies that focus on commercial and new house construction typically don’t want to bother with small repairs or if they do, will charge more and have a longer lead time.  When you hire us, you know you will get an expert technician who will fix your issue quickly, expertly, and leave your house clean.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are a licensed contractor with the state of Pennsylvania (HIC # PA158626) and maintain general liability insurance.  Proof of either of these is available upon request.

Do you provide free quotes?

Yes, we do.  For most jobs we will request either pictures of the repairs needed or do a video chat to review and walk through the project.  On larger or more complex repairs or projects, we may have to visit to provide an accurate quote.  Visit the contact us page to get started, or call/text 267-642-1867 to get started.
